Transfer Scholarships

Every transfer student who is admitted to Nebraska Wesleyan receives one renewable academic scholarship. All students qualify for at least the $20,000 Prairie Wolves Transfer Scholarship. You may qualify for a larger scholarship based on your GPA or your community college affiliation. Find out which one academic scholarship you qualify for in the chart below.

Transfer Academic Scholarships

Students must complete 12+ semester credit hours (18+ quarter credit hours) of transferable college credits since high school to be eligible for a transfer scholarship. Transfer Academic Scholarships do not stack.

Transfer students starting in January 2024 may be eligible for one of the following scholarships:

Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship $29,000

Member of PTK at time of admission.

 

Pathways Transfer Scholarship $22,000

Transfer from a Pathways member community college.

Pathways member institutions:

Prairie Wolves Transfer Scholarship $20,000

Any admitted transfer student, unless they qualify for a different transfer scholarship.

 Cumulative GPA is calculated from all college coursework on a 4.0 scale.

Access NWU Scholarship Program for Pell-eligible Students

The Access NWU Scholarship Program will fully fund tuition through federal, state and NWU merit-based and need-based aid for full time transfer students who qualify for the federal Pell Grant. The program will serve most students whose family adjusted gross incomes are at or below $60,000. Learn more about the Access NWU Scholarship Program.
